Had Yai- Sankala Khiri- Khao Nam Khang – Sirindhorn Peat Swamp Forest- Halabala Wild Life Santuary 10 days 9 nights

Day 1

Recommend morning flight fly from Bangkok to Had Yai

Upon arrival Had Yai airport, meet with guide/driver, and drive to Singhanakorn district searching for White – headed Munia. Late afternoon, drive to Resort. (2 hr. drive) Check in and overnight  

Day 2

Early morning drive to Sankala Khiri NP, birding full day. Plain-pouched Hornbill can be found here during the migratory season. There also rare residence like, Large Green Pigeon, Black Magpie, Oriental Dwarf-kingfisher. The forest ground also good to search for Chestnut-winged Babbler, Moustached Babbler, Fulvous-chested Jungle-Flycatcher, The Southern common specie such as Van Hasselt’s Sunbird, Purple-naped Spiderhunter, Yellow-vented Flowerpecker, Pin-tailed Parrotfinch, Whiskered Treeswift, etc

Day 3

Morning, Spend half day at Sankala Khiri National Park and afternoon at Khao Nam Khang National Park

Target bird: A rare resident specie such as Scarlet-breasted Flowerpecker, White-bellied Munia. And other common residence; Swinhoe White-eye, Puff-backed Bulbul, Scaly-breasted Bulbul, Plain Sunbird, Blue-crowned Hanging-Parrot, Silver-rumped Needletail, Violet Cuckoo, Ashy Tailorbird, Spectacled Spiderhunter, etc

Day 4

After check put then drive to Sirindhorn Peat Swamp Forest.

Target bird: Olive-backed Woodpecker, Chequer-throated Yellownape, Olive-winged Bulbul, Fluffy-backed Tit-babbler, Ashy Tailorbird, Malay Blue-flycatcher, Rufous-tailed Tailorbird

Late afternoon, drive to Hala-bala Wild Life Santuary area. Check in at Accommodation

Day 5-9 Birding and Bird Photograph in Hala-bala Wildlife sanctuary area

Target bird: Rhinoceros, Wrinkled, Helmeted, Great, Black, Bushy-crested, Wreathed Hornbill, 7-8 Specie of Babbler, Rufous tailed shama, Malay Hawk Cuckoo, Short toed coucal, Cinerous bulbul, Finsch’s bulbul, Chestnut backed scimitar babbler, Temminck’s sunbird, Long-billed Spiderhunter, Rusty breasted cuckoo, Reddish scops owl, Fiery minivet, Black winged flycatcher shrike, Spotted fantail, Rufous -backed Kingfisher.

 Day 10 Morning drive to Narathiwat Airport (2 hrs) for flight back to Bangkok
